Lucky Cat Cafe Ipswich

Getting there was a little confusing as google maps lead me to heisenberg haus, until I spotted a little sign board and followed the dancing coffee beans on the concrete pathway, which lead us to the cafe. We were greeted by the friendly and helpful staff upon arrival and asked if we had a booking (which is a must - as the cat room is super popular). We gave our drink order, the Strawberry slushie was delicious and the giner and apple juice had quite the ginger kick. The cafe was bright and welcoming with comfortable seats, we loved the decor with some cute little quirks, like googly eyes in interesting places. The cat room, while at this stage was not yet finished, it was still well furnished with comfy couches and chairs. After spending an hour cuddling the kittens and cooing over their mischievous play our stomaches were rumbling louder then the kittens purring. We headed back into the cafe - after washing our hands for a jaffle, spaghetti and cheese was our choice and we were not disappointed by the speedy service or the delight to our taste buds. Here ended our visit after picking out some cattitude pins as keepsakes. We had a fabulous time and will most definitely be regular visitors.

Went on Mother’s Day because I was going to see Jekyll and Hyde at the theatre. The price of entry was reasonable and nice that it included a drink. Staff were very friendly, and the cats were super cute. There was a gorgeous black cat that staff had already warned could be moody. She was very friendly with me but I stopped interacting once I could tell her mood was changing. However, there was a mother with her three daughters there, the youngest probably being a tween, and the tween kept interacting with cats who had clearly already shown they didn’t want interactions. Instead of the mom telling their child to stop bothering cats, the mom just would laugh and encouraged her. This went against the rules and I think it unfortunately shows that a staff member may need to be in the room during cat sessions as they should be the ones monitoring and enforcing the following of rules. Other than that, it’s definitely a good Australian cat cafe.

Good coffee, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Good place to support as all the cats are adoptable. Definitely brings some joy in your day ⬛

Perfect for cat lovers. Entry includes a drink and if you pick your time well, you might not have all 10 spaces filled so its like a cat room to yourself and your friend/family. Drinks are always delish and staff are amazing. Kitties are super cute and you might be lucky enough to have some kittens or teen kitties present when you visit. Its quieter at night but the kitties are also more tired so you may have more snuggles in the morning? And they supply cat toys so you can play with the energetic ones. A lovely activity for anyone missing cat company!

Came in to have a spot of lunch, and was immediately greeted with an amazing young man named Ethan, who was quick to take our order and did so with impeccable service and recommendations. The Margerita pizza we had was top notch and absolutely delicious made fresh to order. We also overheard him explain to a few people in the cat room as well explaining the personalities of each one of the cats, so we definitely might be back for that experience too. In all we wanted to say that we were taken care of amazingly by Ethan and would 100% recommend people come down to this lovely quiet place for a delicious pizza and delightful coffee.

I feel like it’s even better since it moved from Annerley. It’s nice and clean, the cats seem happy enough. There’s less cat merchandise (this is probably a good thing but I liked browsing and we usually bought a thing or two). I just wish there were more food options. I know you’ve recently added pizzas, which is a great start. Even some quiches and sandwiches in the display would be a welcome addition.

This is a lovely cozy spot. Great coffee, lovely service and don't forget to book yourself in for a session with the absolutely divine cats! They are such amazing cats with beautiful personalities. We will definitely be back!!

Such a lovely cafe! Tall ceiling feels spacious, big windows let in plenty of light, and there is a kids play area inside the cafe which is super useful. Got the mushroom jaffle and a mango bubble tea, and they were excellent. Definitely recommend! Will be returning to visit the cats when the cat room opens later.
